I'm amazed by this game. It's so impressive. I Loved the running animation, the water physics, the music... I'm looking forward to play more of it.
If I would give you a suggestion, I'd say to add "input: gamepad" to take the cursor away from the screen. Congratulations for your ptoject. It's really impressive!!! |

@glitchmancer Thank you for checking out the game, and the suggestion. I never even knew that you could take away the cursor!

Great game, but I feel mildly stuck towards the beginning, and have no idea what the stick wand does
|
![]() fizzii01
|
@Chunk It can light torches. Look for the grey, inverted cylinders.

I think I soft locked myself, I'm at the bottom of a pit, and I can't jump out

@Chunk Can you clarify where it is?
Also, if you would like to use this, I'll put it here: https://youtu.be/cDWKo2gKFJ4?si=_aA9nfTtjutG6jmR |

Using debug mode, I found my map coords are 14,7. I have the stick wand, feather wand, slingshot, sword and the paddy melon.
|
![]() fizzii01
|
@Chunk Assuming that you're on the mountain, there's a switch at the end of the path to your left that activates a torch with a green flame that can propel you upward.
|
![]() fizzii01
|
@Chunk You'll also need the white feather to proceed. It's back in the gnomes' village.
|

|
@Chunk Did you happen to get there through the sewer?
|
![]() Chunk
|
I did go through the sewers. Although the only thing to the left is a dandelion.
|
![]() fizzii01
|
@Chunk I'll have to patch that soon so that no one else gets stuck. Just reset your game and don't go there again until you get the white feather.

Just to say, got back, and was in the middle of playing, when tic booted me out with the error message:
[string "-- title: BlueyVANIA..."]:2857: attempt to index a nil value (field '?') stack traceback: [string "-- title: BlueyVANIA..."]:2857: in function 'updent' [string "-- title: BlueyVANIA..."]:1178: in function 'game' [string "-- title: BlueyVANIA..."]:804: in function 'tic' Just wanted to share, so it can be fixed. Still is very fun and impressive. |

@Chunk Thanks for pointing that out! Looking under the hood, it's an issue that I thought I fixed while still developing the game. If you go to the line itself, it's supposed to be a check in the wraiths' code for an empty block beneath him so that they don't walk off the platform. I think the error was raised because I forgot to account for the y-axis in the conditional that precedes it.

This is such an amazing game! It stands out uniquely among all Bluey fan-made games! I am a Bluey fan from China. I beat BlueyVANIA all by myself and unlocked the both endings.
I have a suggestion for you. If the good ending could be shown as an animated cutscene just like the opening, the game would feel much more complete! I also made a fan soundtrack for BlueyVANIA and released it on NetEase Cloud Music. I would love to submit my music for this game if you are interested. Play BlueyVANIA has truly been a precious experience for me! Thanks,TheFizzyOne,for the game! |

@BlueyOrder
非常感谢 I really appreciate your kind words. I've actually been thinking about adding some new content to the game as well, so I'll keep your suggestion in mind. Would you be able to post a link to your fan soundtrack? TIC-80 ins't able to play audio files, but if I do a remake that uses another game engine, I'll be sure to use that. |

Wahhhhh!!!
I never thought I could receive your reply! Thank you for your consideration! My music is only released exclusively on NetEase Cloud Music, no overseas platforms. You probably cannot play the link from your location because of region locks. Is there any way I can send the audio file to you directly? If not, I will figure out another way to share the link with you. If you have a way to access NetEase Cloud Music, let me know and I will send you the names of my music for you to search. I have shared your game on Xiaohongshu, hoping more fans get to play your creation! |

@BlueyOrder
Is this it? https://y.music.163.com/m/ I can access it just fine. |

Ah... Wow... Yes yes! This is the one! Open this link and search for "PerceiveExpoik". This is just the track I want to submit. My artist name is 叶浅予.
I also made another fan track for BlueyVANIA called "Inorganic World". Its artwrk is a screeshot from BlueyVANIA. I am a surrealist creator, so I abstracted the character in the artwork. This music is adapted from musical fragments inside your game. Can you recognize the original musical fragments? Ha ha ha. Also, You can use it in your future remaster of the game if you like it ^o^ |

|
There were two small typos in my previous comment. Sorry about that, hope it is readable!

@BlueyOrder
Both tracks are pretty good! PerceiveExpoik sounds like a track that could have been from the show itself. I can definitely recognize what you used for Inorganic World, too. |

Hey! I am so happy you like them! That is wonderful! When you remaster the game in the future, you could use PerceiveExpoik as the music for the good ending cutscene.
I really hope we can be friends. Would you consider signing up for RedNote (Xiaohongshu), or logging into NetEase Cloud Music to DM me? I can send you the WAV. audio files there. My RedNote name; Bluey, ID: blsb_Bluey No worries at all if it is not convenient for you to make an account. I just have so many things I want to talk with you about. Also, I have found two bugs. I will need to attach some photos to explain them clearly, so I can report them to you one by one later. |
